Governor Abbott Extends School Closure Through Friday, May 1st

This afternoon Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that all Texas schools will remain closed through May 1 due to COVID-19. This means schools will remain closed, but instruction through remote learning will continue. This decision is based on the social distancing guidelines in effect through the month of April as advised by federal, state and local officials. As of now May 4th will be a target date to return to school unless another order is given.

During closures, Tahoka will continue to provide curbside meals Monday - Friday from 11 AM - 1 PM to all children 18 and younger. Meals will also be available during scheduled student/staff holidays, and inclement weather days as scheduled on the district calendar.

We will continue to update our website with resources and information. We appreciate your patience and support during this time. Our time apart has been extended, but we are still in this together.
